Smart Trike Plus Unisex Smart Trike Plus - Unisex I bought this trike for my 10 month old granddaughter for Christmas. She absolutely loves it, it was her favourite toy at Christmas and still is. When she is not riding on it she is lovingly examining it! I was impressed by the quality and strength of it, and thought that it was good value for money.
Great but clutch doesn't work We bought this product from Amazon as it was cheaper by £16 than other retailers we researched. The Trike is easy to assemble (even if brute force is sometimes needed) and our 1yr old daughter absolutely loves it. My only problem with it is that the clutch does not work. It is supposed to stop the pedels going round when engaged but simply does not do this. This is the second trike we have had this issue with, so looks like a fault with the design. Otherwise, love it.
Excellent runaround This trike was a birthday present for my 1 year old son and he loves it! It is nicely made and can be assembled easily although a few parts need a bit of a squeeze. The unit is sturdy and he is very comfortable in it. The colours are great - very visible on the road! From the adult perspective it is great as you feel that the child is secure and well supported. The pedal disengagement is good as is the sun shade and being able to push and steer 'remotely' is perfect even being very tall. My only concern is how long it will last. We live on fairly rough lanes and I am not sure it will sustain the bumps/wear and tear. That said, it is holding together very well so far and hopefully it will be fine for a good while to come.
